Name of Career- EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)
Education/Training- The education required for this job includes post secondary vocational training, a High school diploma, also 35 to 55 hours of on field training is required.
Responsibilities/Daily Activities- The activities that an EMT is responsible includes administrating first and and emergency treatment to sick or injured persons, operate equipment that monitors and restarts the heart, they also have to asses the extent of an illness or injury and how to treat them.

Self-Reflection- I chose this article because it was one of my very first career journal assignments and I ended up really enjoying learning about it. In the next 10 years this is projected to be the one of the most fastest growing careers. Almost every single EMT out of training is guaranteed a job. Skills that I have learned in bio-medical studies that would help in this field could include all the information about diabetes in case there is a patient that has it.
Name of Career- BLOOD SPATTER ANALYST
Education/Training- The education needed for this job include a Bachelors degree, studies in forensic sciences, a Masters degree, and also a doctorate in forensics.
Responsibilities/Daily activities- Blood spatter annalists use tools to determine facts about how a crime was committed and any other details that law enforcement might find useful to solve a crime or get a conviction. They also determine how blood was sprayed, if and what weapon was used, and indicate different patters of blood.

Self-Reflection- I chose this career to put into my portfolio because it was one that really interested me and really appealed to my interests because I thought that this would be a really cool and interesting job to have. The projected growth of this career is estimated to rise in the near future. The blood spatter analyzing techniques that we learned in class such as determining different spatter patterns would definitely help within this career.
Responsibilities - Specializes in the treatment of mental disorders. Psychiatrists are sometimes confused with with psychologists in the sense that they look similar, but a psychologist studies psychology and a psychiatrist is a licensed physician that can treat actual patients.
Self Reflection- I think that i would really enjoy this job becuase I am a very social person and I somehow always have people telling me their problems and I found out how I can help them. I would really love helping and talking to people while doing this job.

Name of Career- Cardiovascular Technologist
Education/Training- Associates degree, must earn a certification, Training on the job, Must pass apprentice program.
Responsibilities- use electrocardiograms to monitor patients blood pressure during procedures, explaining testing procedures to patients to educate them.

Self reflection- I would really enjoy this job because when we did the EKGs in class they were very interesting and I liked them a lot. I feel if I had to do that for a living I definitely would not mind it.

Education-Certification in specialty, must have field experience, bachelors/masters degrees.

Self reflection- I would like this job a little because it doesn't require just equipment, but also a lot of problem solving skills. It also focuses on the patient and the disease. I would enjoy this job because it would be like solving a puzzle.
